The handles are excellent! The thickness of the pen is engraved only on the feather itself, so when they are in caps, then understand where it is impossible, it would be good to label them somehow (stickers for example). We made the marks with paints, observing the rainbow sequence (red-the thinnest, purple-the widest). They write well.
